I love surrounding myself with other like-minded talented artists,” she said. “I still get excited about projects and I can’t express the feeling of accomplishment when we mount our work. I have been able to be an integral part of several new churches, and it is an honor I never dreamed would happen to me.” Cynthia especially loves to see the historic artwork come back from a destroyed condition. Attenhofer’s also provides services from gently cleaning and performing maintenance on historic glass to creating and fabricating new pieces.

American Glass Guild
Cynthia Courage has been an artist for over 35 years and in that time span has grown in her industry. She is a board member of the American Glass Guild, member of the Stained Glass Association of America, and the Stained Glass Committee for the Preservation Resource Center in New Orleans. 2018

Attenhofer's Stained Glass created two custom stained glass panels in memory of Deacon Irvin Stewart for the Blessed Sacrament-St. Joan of Arc Church. These two panels were designed, pained, and fabricated to fit an existing opening in the church.

Fox8 The Heart of Louisiana
Back in 2013 on the show The Heart of Louisiana, Attenhofer's Stained Glass was featured in an episode called "Holy Works of Art". The episode was filmed in the shop. It consisted of what we do here with new stained glass builds and the restoration works we preform for churches. Cynthia Courage explains the importance of stained glass in history.

Nola The Times-Picayune
St. Theresa church had a window depicting St. Margaret Mary that during hurricane Katrina was blown out of the wall and onto the floor smashing it to pieces. The panel instead of being recreated was restored keeping as much of the original as possible.
